Self assessment help for purpose-led sole traders
Filing your self assessment tax return can be a daunting task if you’re new to being self-employed, but it’s crucial to get this right as a sole trader or you could end up paying more tax than you should or being fined for paying too little. Don’t worry though, when you have guidance from an experienced accountant this process is a breeze and you will have the peace of mind of knowing it’s been done properly.
Testimonial
“Fast, friendly and knowledgeable service. Speaking as a start-up who has had a lot of questions, Chloe and her team have been brilliant at taking the time to talk me through whatever I’ve needed clarity on. Highly recommended.”

From April 2026, HMRC will start to introduce their new tax filing system called Making Tax Digital. It will be introduced in phases so as of next year this new system will only apply to sole traders and landlords earning over £50,000. However, eventually (by 2028) it will include all sole traders and landlords earning over £20,000 per year.
